FluidDB is a radical solution for creating, sharing, finding and annotating information. This presentation will introduce the simple concepts behind FluidDB, explain how to use the API and include practical demonstrations of applications built upon FluidDB.

Developers who attended the London presentation reported that, "FluidDB wasn't quite what I expected: it turned out to be something more interesting than 'yet another NoSQL database'" and "FluidDB seems to be one of these simple concepts that quickly becomes very powerful."

The material will be introductory in nature but the speaker will assume the audience are comfortable with software development concepts and terminology and will encourage questions and participation from attendees.

Nicholas Tollervey is a classically trained musician, philosophy graduate, teacher, writer and software developer who currently works for Fluidinfo, the creators of FluidDB.

We'd like to thank the university for allowing us to use their facilities.
